This is a 414ce with Koa for the side backs, which is the core of USA made Taylors!
The 414ce is a popular model that forms the core of the USA Taylor lineup along with the 314ce.
The 414ce has a grand auditorium body shape with a good balance of playability and raw sound, and uses Koa for the sides and back, which has sound quality characteristics similar to rosewood with Deep Bass tone in our opinion is like a Martin tone With Steroids a lot of Mid range and balanced tone. Although the 314ce is more famous in terms of popularity, the 414ce, with its wide range of range from low to high frequencies and sparkling sound, is easy to handle in a variety of situations, and combined with the high playability typical of Taylor, in a sense it may be the most Taylor-like model.
The pickup system is not the current ES2, but the previous ES1, and the slightly subdued tone of the ES1 has many deep-rooted fans.
It was manufactured in 2008, and the specifications that became the basis of the current lineup were established around this time from the early 2000s when the ES system was installed, and while simple, it produces a high-quality tone both on live and acoustic guitars, and has specifications that combine practicality such as high playability. It has only one minor scratch in the headstock Look the pictures.
