The Martin HD-28E dreadnought acoustic-electric guitar blends the rich, complex tone of vintage instruments with the comfortable playability of a modern guitar. Crafted in the USA, the HD-28E features forward-shifted scalloped X-bracing inspired by Martin's "Golden Era" dreadnoughts from the 1930s. This vintage-style bracing helps produce the HD-28E's clear treble and robust bass, giving it the highly coveted Martin tone that musicians have prized for decades. With its solid spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, the HD-28E resonates with marvelous depth and projection. For improved playability, it has a Modified Low Oval neck shape with a comfortable 1-3/4" nut width. The HD-28E feels natural and easy to play, whether you're a beginner or a seasoned guitarist.
