At Texas Tone Factory, we take actual pictures of each instrument and make sure they are fully set-up and ready to play before we ship them. Each instrument goes through a multi-point inspection, followed by a set-up process by our Luthier.
This inspection Includes Cleaning and Refreshing all the parts of the instrument, Electronic, Pots, Switch, Jack, Frets, New Strings And full Setup With low Action.
This is a Beautiful Custom Guitar Made by Dave Vogele have been building for the past 20 years in norther Indiana.
Here we have a scratch built Explorer made very close to 1958 specs. It features an incredible, solid 2 piece 5A Flame Maple body, 1 piece Maple neck with Flame Maple headstock cap, Ebony fingerboard, medium jumbo frets and a 24.625 Gibson scale.
The finish is 5mil catalyzed Sikkens clear-coat wet sanded to 3000grit and buffed to a mirror finish.
The neck profile is in between a 50's and a slim taper 60's. Electronics consist of a pair of Duncan Slash Alnico II's, TonePros locking bridge & Tailpiece (nickel), Sperzel locking tuners, Bone nut, CTS pots, braided wire, Emerson Paper-in-oil .022 cap, Switchcraft switch & jack. Schaller straplocks. It weighs 8.2 lbs.
